Amanda Bennett

Amanda Bennett a fiber artist, fiction writer, craft-dabbler, and proud member of the bad decisions book club*.

Amanda was born on an island in the Pacific Northwest, which could account for her deep love of dark rainy days, big trees, and rocky beaches. She studied film, digital media, and studio art at Baylor University and currently lives in southwest Louisiana with her husband and their corgi, Winston.

After dabbling in artistic mediums including illustration, graphic design, textiles, and poetry, Amanda rediscovered her love for writing fiction. In 2020, she was a finalist in the Writer’s League of Texas Manuscript Contest.

When she’s not writing, she creates wall hangings from linen, wool, and cotton. From a young age Amanda loved textiles and yarn, and she hasn’t met a fiber craft she didn’t like.
